The clouds opened up and the rain fell down. Torrents of rain! Street was flooded and the water ran down the hill three inches deep. Then the thunder started. The air electric and thick. Came inside and took a nap so I wouldn't be afraid.
I am an enrolled member of the Chickasaw Nation of Ada, Oklahoma. I am very interested in the success of Native Americans in higher education and serve on the board of Oregon Indian Education Association, as well as, on the OCIPSE board. I received a doctorate in 2006 from the University of Oregon and after graduation I began working as a consultant in the area of Organizational Development with several non-profits. I currently work for a non-profit and am the Director of Tribal Development for the organization.
